My Writerly Habitat (or Greetings from the Revision Cave)

Right now, I'm in the midst of a gigantic revision for the second Landry Park, so I'm going rogue and posting my own writerly habitat today, since that's where I'm spending most of my waking hours!

Ah, Midtown Starbucks.  The hours we spend together.  Partially, I write outside of my home because I live in a two-bedroom post-WWII ranch the size of a shoebox, but also because if I stayed at home, I would get distracted by napping and Netflix and my delicious stack of to-be-read books.  And since I can't read any of my wonderful new books (The Lost Sun and The Bone Season, I'm looking at you) I thought at least someone else could read a book they're excited about!  So enter the contest below for a $15 Amazon gift card to win the book of your choice!

  1. So I'm not quite sure if I'm supposed to answer this in the rafflecopter or what.

    But.

HOUSE OF HADES. BECAUSE NO MATTER WHAT, PERCABETH WILL ALWAYS BE MY NUMBER ONE SHIP. Percy Jackson=my version of HP.

Although if we're also counting on my blogger perks, I REALLY REALLY HOPE I GET AT LEAST ONE YA VALENTINES BOOK THIS FALL. I will ask the Great Pumpkin.

And Bone Season? Oh that book was AMAZING. Finished it two days ago and just FELL IN LOVE.

  2. Thanks for the giveaway! There are so, so many must-have Fall books for me, but if I had to narrow it down to one... probably Vicious by Victoria Schwab. Though you also reminded me that I REALLY want to read The Bone Season. Also, for something completely different, the Hyperbole and a Half book is coming soon and will be hilarious... Okay, so apparently by one I meant at least three. :-)

  3. Thanks for the giveaway! I just won an ARC of Landry Park and I am so excited for it to get here so I can devour it. The fall book I'm most excited for is The Bone Season, but I feel like it is going to be one of those books that require a ton of my attention, so I'm waiting for the right mood to strike for me to read it.
